Christine Michael is a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy.
She is an experienced Occupational Therapist, with a diverse range of clinical skills and experience within national and international healthcare systems. Christine has experience in acute hospital and community clinical settings, including inpatient acute services, specialist inpatient rehabilitation, assistive technology and brain injury case management services.
Christine has developed several special interest areas, including postural management, neurological rehabilitation, and the use of assistive technology to support participation and wellbeing.
In addition to Christine’s clinical work, she is also passionate about student learning and professional development. As part of the clinical education team, Christine values delivering high quality university teaching, which engages and supports students with their translation of theoretical knowledge to clinical practice.
