Dr Adrian McCallum, a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering and core member of UniSC's Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre (ITRC), aligns his research with the ITRC's focus on transcultural collaboration and knowledge-sharing in diverse and remote environments.
With expertise in remote area science and engineering, Adrian has led and managed projects in extreme regions, including the Arctic, Himalayas, and Antarctica. He excels in collecting, analysing, and communicating scientific and engineering data, as well as fostering team collaboration and project success in challenging contexts. Adrian’s work integrates technical innovation with leadership to address global challenges, contributing to the ITRC's mission of transcultural engagement.

- Analysis of snow density data collected on a ski-traverse of the Greenland Ice Sheet in May 2024,
- Analysis of Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) oceanographic data collected in numerous coastal locations off Greenland and Svalbard in June/July 2024, and
