Dr Catherine Houlihan is a senior lecturer in clinical psychology and Director of the UniSC Psychology Clinic. She coordinates and teaches courses on the Master of Psychology (Clinical and Professional) programs and provides clinical and research supervision to master’s and PhD students.
Catherine completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford, where she received high-quality training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other psychological approaches. She has since worked in senior positions in various mental health services and as a trainer and supervisor for evidence-based psychological therapies. Catherine has expertise in leading new and developing treatment programs, including as a founding Clinical Director for Australia’s first residential eating disorder service, “Wandi Nerida”, in Queensland.
