Lucas brings deep experience across clinical trials, neurological research, and strategic leadership.

He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Australian Diabetes Clinical Trials Network (an ACADI initiative); is an APAC Advisory Board member at Trialscreen, and previously held VP roles at ARCS Australia, and the Australian Advisory Board on Competitiveness.

From his early career as a Senior Medical Scientist in neurology to his current advisory positions, Lucas has consistently championed ways to grow research capacity and impact through infrastructure development, working with healthcare providers, and managing multidisciplinary teams including a current team of over 130 professionals.

Lucas joined the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) in 2015 as the inaugural Director of the UniSC Clinical Trials Centre and is a member of the University Clinical Board.
