Lyris Snowden is an educator and researcher in STEM tertiary education pathways and ways of knowing in education. Before joining the School of Education and Tertiary Access Lyris taught in undergraduate microbiology and cell biology. Additionally, she facilitated diverse placement opportunities both in Australia and internationally for third year students. Lyris brings this third-year transition and industry experience to students in undergraduate pathways in her role as Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) Lecturer in the School of Education and Tertiary Access. She is passionate about all things biology and chemistry and to share this with students. Lyris’ research interests include STEM tertiary education pathways and slow scholarship.
